Have made many times, it's requested by co-workers. Changed the Oreo cookie and a single bag of White Choc to Nutter Butter cookies and a bag of peanut butter chips. Was just as good.

the trick to getting the fudge to set firmly so you can cut it into squares is to buy a candy thermometer (sold at bed bath and beyond) and place it in your pot while boiling. allow the mixture to boil until the tempurture hits the line marked "soft ball stage". once it hits this mark you can remove the pot from the heat and follow instructions going forward. good luck!

I agree with Mom2Will, would be better with REAL white chocolate. However so hard to find! Those "white chips" are so sweet, and I even used chocolate wafers instead of oreos (same cookie, but without the filling) to try to cut down on the sweetness. This was sickeningly sweet will never make again.

My family thought this was delicious. It was very easy to make. Would certainly make again. Might even increase the amount of Oreo crumbles in the base of the fudge. It was delicious the way it was, but I personally could have enjoyed a few more cookies in the fudge base. Delicious!

I made this fudge and it tastes amazing! I love it. The only problem I had with it is it did not completely set up like it should have. However, I think that was my fault. I don't think I boiled it long enough. I didn't do a cold water test or anything to check. I have had it in the freezer so it will stay hard enough to cut but it starts getting a little goopy fast. I would definitely try this one again even if turned out the same it's worth the taste.

Abosulutely declicious. Mine turned out perfect .This does need to boil longer than 3 min. The recipe on the marshmallow cream jar for chocolate fantasy fudge says boil 4 min. I have made that plenty of times and I actually boil it about 5 min. I can always tell if the boiling mixture is thickned. Definitely don't want to cook to a crackling stage. I will sometimes have a cup of cold water and take the spoon I was stirrring and let a drop of the mixture go in the water... if it appears too thin then it is not ready.

I love this recipe, because it's quite flexible. First of all, the only way to make this is with white chocolate...NOT the artificially flavored white chips. I reduce the sugar to 3/4 cup, simply because we find that it is too sweet. Finally, I have also substituted the mint oreos! (Just don't ever use double-stuffed oreos!) Enjoy!

Good, but very sweet! Does taste just like a cookies 'n' cream candy bar. To those whose fudge never set... you probably did the same thing I did. I used a regular can of evaporated milk which is 12oz not 5oz. Luckily I caught my mistake early and just doubled the rest of the ingredients to make a double batch. So, I recommend you make sure that your can is only 5oz before pouring the whole thing in!

Really, Really good...just enough white chocolate flavor to add to the "cream" component, but not so much that it is screaming white chocolate. Used double stuf oreos which might have gilded the lily, but I didn't care :)

I made these to place in Christmas goodie baskets, did not have any problems with the mixture firming, as they were a perfect fudge consistency, however they were so sweet that one small bite is more than enough. They do taste like a cookie ‘n crème candy bar but a little goes a long way, my husband wasn’t thrilled with them and I am not looking forward to finishing them off, so three stars for ease and presentation, however you have to have a super sweet tooth for these!

This was pretty good and easy to make. I did like the idea of making it in mini muffin tins with liners. That part was a little time consuming. Also, I think I would just go with 2 1/2 cups crushed cookies over all and NOT put any on top. The crumbs are, well, crummy and even after pressing them down they fall off and make it messy to eat. If I make it again I will make it in the pan with no crumbs on top.
